Why can I not upload photos, My operating system is Vista, previously was able to upload photos from my Canon A60 digital camera, but now no box pops up, etc.. appreciate any help?

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to transfer pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa.

Dv300f upload photo folder

Your photos will likely be in a folder named 101SSCAM, if you can't remember where you saved them on the computer then do a search on the computer for files and folders of that name or if you know the names of any the pictures then you can search for that, e.g IMG0001.jpg

The search function varies depending on OS but for Vista/Win 7 you can find it from Start > Search > Files and Folders.

How do i upload video from my nikon d7000 to my computer. Will upload photos but the video didn't

You neglected to specify how you're trying to upload your videos so I can only give general hints.
First, make sure you're using a program that recognizes videos. If you're using a program designed to copy photos, that's exactly what it will do -- copy photos. Videos aren't photos, and such a program will ignore them.

I have a polaroid t730 camera and have been able to upload photos to my hp laptop in the past. however, upon trying to upload photos now, my computer does no seem to recognize that the camera is attatched...

now my computer does no seem to recognize that the camera is attatched at all,

  • Do you mean to say it recognized the camera at one time in the past?
  • What happens when you attach the USB cable?
  • What operating system are you running on your computer?
  • Did you try to re-install the drivers?

You don't really need the driver. Just get a separate card reader to download your pics. Much more reliable than the camera/USB setup.

Uploading problem

When you connect the camera to the computer, are you clicking on my computer to see the drives? Can you see your camera in the drives? If so, double click on it and drill down folders if you have to...to find your pictures.
