SOURCE: QPS-525 usb CDRW - quit working. Pwr Supply OK.

Check to see which LED is blinking, the one on the cdrw or the one just below it showing theres power to the enclosure? If theres proper power to the enclosure the green led light below the cdrw should stay solid green. If you have a blinking led light on the cdrw itself, you may wish to disassemble the enclosure and ensure all the short wire leads to the converters pcb are still properly connected and that theres nothing loose. Make sure the IDE cable is properly seated as well as the molex power connector.

A blinking led on the cdrw may signify a problem with the drive itself, since it should not be blinking unless its being accessed by the computer. You could also try reloading the drivers for it whether youre running it on a mac or windows machine. Perhaps change the usb port youre connecting too as well. Before sending the enclosure to the trash, try another cdrom drive connected inside of it. That should be the definitive test to solve whether its the fault of the enclosure or burner itself. Hope these troubleshooting tips help.

Testimonial: "Thak you Brad, I know that one. It's the only power supply I've found on internet but price is too high. There are some used working machines for half the price of it. What I'm really looking for is for a fix on the board or a cheap and affordable replacement no more than 20$ as usual. Thanks anyway!"

This is a common problem for LG 42LN5xxx & 47LN5xxx LED TVs, the problem is defective LED back lights strips, it has nothing to do with main power supply & the main board.

Monitor wont turn on help

Hello there, first thing you should do is to check the power cable. You can do that by changing it with PC power supply cable .It is the same. If it turns to be OK then disconnect the VGA cable from monitor and then try to power monitor on.There should be an activity on front power LED. If the power LED is not showing any light at all, then do not go further the unit is not working .Else the power led should blink a couple of times then a window pop up scrolling on the lcd saying :" no video signal" so the unit is OK ..Hope this helps. Cheers.

I have lg 52lg60,when I turn on it's clicking power indicator on and off.I check the power supply capacitor looks like ok.how can fix this?

My Westinghouse led tv did the same and seems like it isn't working any more. I never pursued the reason but by how it acted it seems like a cold solder joint, or a minor capacitor problem near the light

Lg top load washer

hello there and welcome to fixya
this is a lid open failure code meaning that the machine is sensing that the lid is open when it is not
You will want to chenck the lid switch to make sure it clicks when the machine is on and you close the lid if not replace it
also please check each of the following
wire harness and the electronic controle board may be at fault too ok so check them carefully too
Hope this helps keep me posted ok

The time taken to show picture is due to leakage of electrolytic capacitors in the internal power supply of the set,if you are technical person check and replace the capacitors in the secondary stage of power supply,ti will suerly solve the problem.

LG WASHER WON'T Power on

Hello. If the lid switch is defective, your washer may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it. Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse.
