Cant display or delete photos from Pol...

I must be a really old person! I've read the little user's guide and it says to press the right arrow button to display last photo (I've taken 5 photos so far) but the lcd screen says "no image"......so the user's manual guide to how to delete the photo doesnt help if it won't display the image to be deleted? and I cant figure out how to even display the photos I might want to save either. I was able to hook up my own computer and vcr so dont know why (other than the "old dog learning new tricks" thing) I cant master this camera
