MISTRAL MTLW7..2 too many probs!

I have a mistral MTLW7( purchased in july 2006) washer and it is having trouble with the spin cycle, it comes up with an error code on the display screen, and will not spin again, as all of the clothes are over one side. The machine has been leveled continually, but it still a prob. Now I am having trouble with the water not draining out! everytime this happens, it goes back to a wash mode, or straight back to the beginning of the cycle again i'm about to throw it outta the house and buy a new NON Mistral washing machine. PLEASE HELP..I have 3 young children who are getting really sick of hearing Mum shouting at a washing machine arrggghhh!

We have the same washing machine with the same problem, we got it serviced last week, and now it works perfectly. At the bottom on the right side towards the front there is a knob. All he did was tighten this knob which is supposed to balance the bowl. Hope this helps...

SOURCE: I have a mistral MTLW7

Im no expert but i have found the hight of the water outlet is kinda critical to correct function on mine.

The manual states outlet to be no less than 700mm and no more than 1200mm and i have mine now at 900 mm and its all working fine.

Originanly was hooked in under sink and exerienced similar problems

Hope this helps ya out

GE Profile top load washer purchased 2003 water comes out from under washer when spin and drain cycle on. this not mentioned in trouble shooting area. think it is water pump or whatelse can it be?

It has to be in the water exit path somewhere - is there a pump sump inspection? Is there a hose split? Likely the drain hose, or where it connects to the machine. Has the pump split open? Can you remove the machine cover and inspect it while it is doing a cycle so you can see where the water is coming from?
