WHY DID MY VIORE SCREEN RESIZE TO SMALLER SCREEN

Screen size depends on the broadcast signals aspect ratio, the TV adjusts for that automatically, the picture can have no bands or be banded top and bottom or on both sides.

How to resize the text on pendo pad 8

I don't know much about Windows 8.1 on tablets, but if you can find the Ease of Access menu you can run the Magnifier application and set it to lens view so when you scroll to the edge of the screen it will scroll the whole dimensions of the resolution and not just to the edge of the screen size itself. That might help with selecting with what is off the edge of the screen.

My explanation isn't prefect, neither is my grammar. If you run the Magnifier app you'll see what I mean though, it should work.

Click/Tap (Start > [Type] ease of access) the option is there.

Hope that helps

The image projected is squished

It sounds like your input signal is in 4:3 and the projector is in 16:9.
You need to adjust the "Resize" mode.
On your remote, press the "Resize" button (bottom-right of the remote, looks like a screen with two arrows pointing left and right [< >]) until it is in "Normal" mode. If that does not work, try setting it to "Border".

Compaq Presario, OS Windows Vista Basic. She wanted to adjust size of web sites, as they overlapped the screen. Instead she enlarged them, to the point that, I cannot scroll or push up to reach OK button...

You can resize windows without the mouse.
If the windows is maximized: press and hold the ALT key and then press the SPACE BAR.
Now press the R key. This will restore the window to a non-maximized state.

To resize: press and hold the ALT key, and then press the SPACE BAR.
Now press the S key to size the window.
Next, use the cursor keys to resize the window to your liking and press Enter when done.
