The wireless card is either under the keyboard or under one of the obvious doors on the bottom. When located be careful when removing the antenna wire that snap on to the card its self.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

This means the DHCP service is not enabled on the wireless router.

either enable the DHCP service on the wireless router

or

Lost wireless internet connection. tried to do the repair function numerous times, filled in the wireless information manually, and finally cleared and reinstalled to factory settings. Still will not get...

Before you replace the network card (which is pretty easy on a desktop, a little trickier with a laptop), reset your router. Look for the router reset button and reset it (you need a paperclip).

Access for the wireless card is under the access door for the hard drive. The guide below is for both wireless "B" and "G" cards which have two wires. It also has the reattachment guide for wireless "N" cards that have three wires. The attachment guide is below for proper lead placement. a link below wil take you to the service manual for this laptop, the numbers for illustrations match the repair manual.

I cant manually activate my blackberry pearl I went to options, mobile network but all it says is roaming.

See if this works....

-Press menu key
-Click OPTIONS
-Select Mobile Network
-Click on "START PROVISIONING"

It should give you a message saying: PROVISIONING COMPLETED SUCCESFULLY.

You wont need a MSL code if you do it this way.

How do i replace the keyboard

1) Buy a new keyboard
2a) Go to a service center and let them do it
2b) follow instructions from here:
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/toshiba-satellite-a215/remove-wireless-card.htm

It's a manual for the wireless card removal, but should work for the keyboard as well.

How do I set up a wireles connection for a Dell Dimension 8300

You will need a a couple of things to set up a wireless connection.
First you will need a wireless card which can be either a pci (you have to insert it inside the pc) card or a usb wireless adapter.
Then you will need a wireless router. You will connect your modem to the router which will communicate with your wireless card.
You may need to start windows wireless service ( I say may depending on your wireless card your card may come with software to manage your connection or you may not like the software whatever the case maybe you can always use windows to manage your wireless connection) in XP open control panel click administrator tools and open services then scroll all the way down to Wireless Zero Configuration open it and set startup type to automatic and then start the device click apply and close. This should be the only time you have to manually start this service now that you have set the startup to automatic.
While you are in control panel open Network Connections find your wireless card and right click then click properties you will see two boxes on the bottom select both of them then click ok. That will create an icon on the toolbar for your wireless connection to access it right click for options.

I cannot connect to my wireless because I was told that my wireless card went bad. What is the next step to get this corrected

how does an internal wireless card "go bad"? unless you got it wet and it short-circuited... but you should really be able to just download the broadcom driver and then the wireless driver. don't rate me on this, but i don't think it's your card, but rather your router. my router has been sucking teabags lately.
