Question about Fujitsu LifeBook P1120 Tablet PC
I just got a used fujitsu lifebook and i am really pleased with the performance etc. i can connect to the internet using cables but wirelessly i have trouble.the wireless progeram is called intersil prism and its very confusing.
there is a boingo program that shows available signals including my own but boingo said you can only connect to boingo hotspots with it.
Hi, If your using windows XP OS.
There is an easier was to manage your wireless card, instead of using the build-in wifi utility.
try this steps:
1. make sure the WZC (wireless zero configuration is enabled)
if not, you can enable it by click on the start then go to run and type
services.msc, to open the services local window.
then look for wireless zero configuration, right click on that wzc and enable it. (you can also enable that by selecting the properties).
on the status of wzc is "started", go to step 2
2. go to properties of your wireless network connection and select wireless network tab.
3. put a check mark on the option that said use windows to configure my wireless network setting and then click ok all the way out.
by doing that your wifi card should pick up any available wireless network around.
Note: wireless network connection icon can be access by going thru control panel >> network connection.
