Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
''replace photoconductor unit'' message came up on our Savin 9927DP.
I read somewhere that it can be reset instead of being replaced. If so, how is this done & are there any possible negative ramifications for resetting instead of replacing?
THE MAINTENANCE PROMPT COULD BE TURNED OFF BUT THAT IS AGAINST THE MANUFACTUREERS RECOMENDATION. THE PCU
WOULD LAST A LITTLE LONGER BUT IT WILL START DUMPING TONER AND DEVELOPER IN TRAY1 IF IT ISNT ALREADY THAT JUST ADDS TO THE CLEANUP TIME AND COST THE PCU WAS DESIGNED TO MAKE 60,000 PAGES.
