Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC
At the very end of my many attempts to (re)install iTunes, this msg pops up --- 'The installer has insufficient privilages to access this directory: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\StartMenu\Programs\iTunes. The installation cannot continue. Log on as administrator or contact your system administrator.' I have ttried as both administrator and non-administrator...HELP PLEASE!! If there is no helping me, who would be the system administrator I contact...Apple's or my desktop maker??
Have you tried installing it in Safe Mode?
Restart the computer, pressing F8 as it boots up. Select "Safe Mode" on the menu that comes up. Log in to the Administrator account (shouldn't have a password unless you put one in), and try installing iTunes again.
