Unit most likely heats up if not ventalited or..amplifier is overloading due to speaker impedance issues. Start with only Front L and R speaker connected. see what happens. Most new amps however have short circuit protection and cuts out as a safety if speakers are not connected properly or if speakers are loading down the amplifier. the 6.1 is fairly new.. is it still under factory warranty?

I have a bose lifestyle 12 and we get a static sound with a pop and the sound goes dead. If we turn the unit off and back on, it works for 10 minutes or so then does it again. Sometimes it will go for...

It could be bad soldering joints inside the unit. If the unit is moved and comes back on then it will be definitely that!
Otherwise it could be some device which is heating up due to failure and shuts down when it gets to much. When it cools down it starts working again.

I have an RCA HD52W59 TV that will turn on and picture is fine for awhile, then it will fade to total black. Still has sound and does not power off. Nothing will show on screen, not even menu options....

Thats a deflection problem which is causing the CRTs to shut down during deflection loss. The deflection board will need replacement. You can get replacement deflection boards from www.tvrepairworld.com

The tv shuts off by itself. I will turn it on..and after awhile, it just turns off by itself, and then after about a minute I can turn it on again and watch tv for awhile, and then it will do it again.

It seems that your unit has some sort of PSU fault, or a problem that is shutting down the Power Supply Unit, PSU. This happens so that no further damage, and possible fire will occur. The faulty component(s) are heating up, tripping the fault control, and shutting down, it cools down again, and will restart, then the process repeats, it will eventually fail fully.
You need to take the unit to a reputable service centre/man and ask for a firm "Quote" for the work to be done. It is that sound that gives it away, this is a typical switchmode Power Supply problem.

Microwave MCO160UQ lite and turntable work. does not heat and power level cannot be set. (power level display toggles between "-20" and "0-10")

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes.

Please note that FixYa is not currently notifying us Experts when Clarification Requests are answered.

So if you need further free help, please post a
NEW problem to FixYa, and please include your brand name and the full model number from the tag in or on the unit, and your symptoms.

Kenmore dryer Model #6507923 Gas sometimes won't

You may have a bad thermocouple. The thermocouple senses the heat from the flame and "tells" the control unit that the flame has lit. If it is sending no signal, the control will think it didn't light and shut off the gas to prevent an explosion. Good luck.

They automatically turn off

That sounds like the action of a thermal shutoff. If present, these can turn off either the input to the amplifier or the entire power supply if the unit has been driven at high levels.
If you have not had it 'cranked up' and it is shutting down anyhow, the output module(s) may be failing which can cause excessive heat at any level. Sometimes feeling the back of the unit in which the main amp is located will tell you by the amount of heat you sense that one or more of these is dying.

Get the updated verison of the Philips Device Manager from Philips website, and then click on the Update button once you have installed the new Device Manager.

Several things to be wary of:
* a Philips player ending in "/02" is designed for use outside of the United States
* the SA5125 is incompatible with Windows Vista and Windows Media Player 11 without a firmware upgrade
