Question about Sewing Machines
I have a pfaff 1222E machine that will only sew a straight, tight stitch and leaves skipped stitches on the bottom. It works fine the last time I used it (a year ago) but now, it doesn't matter what setting I have it set to, I get the same result.
Skipped stitches means a bent or dull needle or improper needle for the fabric being sewn. Try a new needle of the correct type for the material being sewn. If this doesnt correct it, then it will be a timing or needle to hook problem and should go to a qualifed dealer for repair.
