Question about Philips 32PFL5332D 32 in. LCD Television
Philips 32PFL5332D 32" just DIED. We were playing a PS3 game, and suddenly the tv just went black. The remotes or power button on the tv won't power it back up. I unplugged the power cable and plugged it back in, even plugged it directly into the wall socket. It has been fine for 3.5 years but recently we have had audio issues (sometimes have no audio and strangely would have to run the pixel plus demo and the audio would kick in 2 screens into the demo) and had a couple of green screens (which seem to have been a Verizon FIOS issue - we trouble-shooted and has been fine since. We recently moved across the country and switched from directv to fios - so we thought that maybe the audio and screen issues were a glitch with fios, but no we have nothing. Is it worth trying to fix it? Or is it just gone?
U have a LED green light indicator on the LCD panel blinking?Yes,the tv is worth fixing. The power supply board is dead.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement. The average price of a refurbish power supply board is between $100-$120 plus shipping.
