Ultimate Care II top loader washing - rinse issues

I have an Ultimate Care II top loader washing machine, (3RLSQ8000JQ2). Despite a recent servicing, my machine still leaves a lot of powder residue on garments after its final rinse, (which is particularly noticeable on dark items). The service engineer recommended using only powders specifically for top loader machines, as liquids are too concentrated. I always select the correct load setting, (being careful that clothes are not tightly packed into machine), and always set machine for an extra rinse. During servicing the engineer checked for any scale problems, which was ruled out as a cause, (he also used a descale solution and machine was left to soak for a few hours). As machine was stripped down and everything else was checked, I am at a loss as to what could the problem could be. If it is the detergent that I am using, please could you recommend a UK product that might solve this. I am close to throwing the machine out and buying a new one, so would be really greatful for any assistance you can offer. Thanks.

The reason the powder is not dissolving may be due to low wash water temperature. These machines do not have a heater in them. you have to supply hot water via the hot fill pipe. Check the wash water with a thermometer. 40c is right for most poly/cotton fabrics. Use a liquid detergent. This should not be a problem. Check dosing levels on sachet/bottle. remember you have a large capacity appliance. Check controls are set for a cold rinse as this will kill the detergent at the end of the wash.

New concentrated powdered detergent takes very warm water to break it down. As for most dark clothes use cold water. I have one of these top loaders and for my cold wash colored clothes I use a liquid detergent and have no problem.

No problem with Filter.
Pressure switch is not working, it is not sensing the water level. There could be one more reason can cause this issue. Please check the Pressure HOSE whether is punchered or not.

Is the hot water turned on. Remove hose from washer and check screen in water inlet. If it is clear you may need a new water inlet valve.

Whirlpool washing machine top loader will not rinse or do final spin

If your machine fills and agitates through the wash cycle and then stops, check the lid switch.

Water runs from under wash machine when running . It's a whirlpool ultimate care super capacty plus

If it is a top loader, check the seal under the top cover. It also could be a cracked hose from the pump

Hot water on cold washes

To solve this problem simply reverse the water hoses from the way that they are set up currently. Then do a test again to make sure that when you select HOT you are getting HOT.

Whirlpool top loader washer not agitating

Hi, Do you know if the lower half of the agitator is working? THere is a dog kit that might need replaced in the agitator to get the top half to work. If neither half agitates, there is probably a transmission issue. Start the washer with no laundry in it and see if either sections of the agitator work.
I hope this helps you.
