Create a folder on your desktop. Insert your card in the card reader and the other end into a USB port. The icon will either appear on your desktop, windows explorer may offer to open it for you, or it may appear in "my computer" as a removable drive. Wherever it is, select the pics and drag and drop them into the folder you created.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I'm having trouble when I try to download pics to my computer...I am using the usb connection, when I click on the pics I want, then click download, the word "busy" comes up in the bottom...

hi
I suggest you simple instead eos utility program then. first open my computer folder and you will see eos xs picture folder. you hilight on, click right mouse and choose explore. from that point, you can handle. unless you have sd card problem or camer problem.
if still have problem, then I want to get an external memory card reader. it is less than $10.
you put into sd card to usb card reader, you will see a new drive on my computer folder.
rest of work should be easy.
thanks and best regard!

I am trying to download pics from my canon rebel xt and when i plug in my camera to my macbook nothing happens. I normally get some kind of prompt on my laptop. I am not sure if this is related at all but...

change the usb port ...and close other programs before...and see that the camera is powered and in view mode..it should at least see the card from inside...even without driver ..if just do not want ...use the card directly in the card reader and copy pictures from it ..if it has a card ..

I attached the Canon EOS30D to new computer before loading the EOS Utility. Now I get the message Camera not recognized when I attach to down load photos. Can I fix this?

When you installed the utility is not an issue...it doesn't matter. Microsoft updates often prevents some hardware such as your camera from being recognized. Why not use a separate card reader to download your pics?...works every time.

Not downloading pics anymore

Use a card reader to download your pictures to a folder you create on your desktop.
