Question about Samsung SPH-M500 Cellular Phone
Ok... so I was changing my screen saver today and all of a sudden my phone freezes. So of course I have to do an annoying battery pull... but when I do... it doesn't fix it. It now is on perma-freeze and I am not in the arctic. I can't get to anything. When I power up the phone it shows the regular loading screen and then goes into the main screen like normal but then quickly goes black. Their is still power in the battery as the lights on the keypads still work and when it is closed you can see the clock. You can get into the media function but only after messing with side buttons when the phone is closed. I can occasionally get the volume to work and the camera will also work only if the phone is in the closed position. It will try and load the music functions but tells me my media card is missing and if it goes to the store to search for music... it just stays in connecting mode... it never will tho. It will ring if you get a call... but don't try and answer it because the talk button won't work. hmmm what else can I tell ya... oh... if the phone goes black in the open mode... you can only see it again if you press the side buttons. Got any suggestions?
This problem can be resolved if the phone is flashed by "Emergency Download" with a special software through a device called "multiloader". All these software are controlled by Samsung and are given to authorised dealers only. Please get it done from an authoribed dealer.
