Security code for holden vectra 2002

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Holden service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

How to enter a Ford Radio Code

To enter the security code and get your radio up and running again follow these instructions;

Turn the radio on and the display will show ' CODE - - - -

Press preset button [ 1 ] repeatedly to get the first digit on the display

Press preset button [ 2 ] repeatedly for the second digit

Press preset button [ 3 ] repeatedly for the third digit

Press preset button [ 4 ] repeatedly for the fourth digit

To enter the code press the [ 5 ] key to accept.

The set should now operate.

If you have lost the code to your radio

Remove the radio from the dash and find the serial number of the radio which is on a label on the case.

For European Ford Radios you can get your code here for £3.50 using the serial number of the radio.

I have used this site numerous times and can confidently recommend the service as fast and accurate. This site is for European Fords only.

Ford dealerships charge over £20 for this so there is a considerable saving in using this service.

For USA Fords you will need to contact your local Ford Dealership with the VIN number of your car. Expect to pay $30 - $50.

Hope this Tip helps. Please do leave a vote for it. Many Thanks.

I have a kenwood car radio /cd my battery recently went and was replaced and the radio is now asking for a 4 digit code which i dont have .I have amanual but nothing is written in the back what can i do ?

You can enter a 4-digit security code which must be used when the unit is removed from the vehicle, or the constant power source is disconnected from the unit. When constant power is restored to the unit, the security code must be entered before the unit becomes operational.
If the code is lost or forgotten I am afraid the unit has to be re-coded by a Kenwood dealer.
Good luck with it.

My car radio locked after disconnecting the battery. entered wrong codes 3 times- now off. How do I get the ''off'' reset? Where can I get the reset code? Infinity 4 cd and cassett player in 2001...

Don't worry - you'll get 3 more chances in a couple days or so. If that is the factory radio and you know where the car was purchased, you can call the dealership and give them whatever info they ask for (your name, vehicle VIN, etc.) They should be able to look up the reset code in their computer system and give it to you. If it is the factory radio but you don't know what dealership sold it, you must remove the radio and look at the serial number. They may require you to bring the car in to the service department to do this and charge you a hundred bucks. If that's the case, think about upgrading.

Need radio code 1992 Honda accord , called dealer they want$, I have the Part # 39100-SM2-A300-M1. ref # CM6902B, serial F20232137B

What?? They want money? That is rediculous! I actually used to own a 1992 Honda Accord and also needed the radio code because I disconnected the battery. I went to my dealership (Honda House,, presented the VIN and serial number. After proof of ownership, they looked up the code and wrote it down for me free of charge. If possible, I would try going to a different dealership. Maybe even calling a different dealership would work. Unfortunately, Honda dealerships are the only place for Honda radio codes.

Other Options:
It MAY be written down somewhere in the manual.
It MAY be written down and hidden somewhere in your glove box.
You could MAYBE try going to a repair shop such as AutoZone or Strauss and ask them if they have access to such things.

ALSO, please visit for more information about the Honda radio code.

I hope this helps!!!

Code shows on systems front

Sorry, it is a dealer only service. Your best bet is to go to the dealership parts dept or service dept in person. Most dealerships will charge for this service as well, expect to pay 20-30 to get this done. Just ask for the price in advance to be sure. Hope this helps.

CD player in 2007 f150 stopped working

Try disconnecting the negative wire on your battery. Wait a few seconds then reconnect it. this will reset your entire electronics system including your cd player. this might fix the problem. If this is an aftermarket unit and the problem continues after disconnecting the battery take the unit back to where you bought it and they'll replace it if its still under warranty. If its a factory unit take it to a ford dealership for service, or invest in an aftermarket headunit. note.... make sure you disconnect the negative terminal NOT the positive.

Need code for anti theft on sx4

I might be able to help, not sure so here it is. Had a Ford Explorer that I didn't have the code to. Took it to the Ford dealership and they located the code in the rear of the vehicle stamped where you find the jack. Could be the same location for your car. If not maybe call your local dealership and ask where on the vehicle it might be found.

Gm Delphi radio code

Below worked for me just two days ago... you DO NOT NEED to take it to the dealer and you do NOT need to disconnect the battery, this can all be done with a couple clicks on your radio and call into a phone number.
This was posted previously on another post...
01. Turn the ignition ON (The radio displays LOC)
02. Hold down the Radio Presets 2 and 3 buttons for six seconds
03. The radio display changes from LOC to a three-digit number. Write this number down. Don’t take forever, fifteen seconds max before the next step.
04. Press the AM/FM button
05. The radio display changes to another three-digit number. Write this number to the right of the first one.
06. You now have a six-digit number, the first three digits are from STEP 03 and the last three digits are from STEP 05
07. Call 1 800 537 5140
08. Press 1 then #. You’ll hear Invalid Code, try again
09. Press 139010 then #. You will be asked to enter your four or six digit code followed by *
10. Enter the number from STEP 6 then *
11. Listen to the four-digit number and write it down. It will be repeated twice
12. Turn the ignition ON (The radio displays LOC)
13. Use the MN and HR buttons to enter the code from STEP 11
14. Press the AM/FM button. The radio display changes to SEC
Your radio is now un-locked and usable
