There is a 4 pin Black Socket right next to the 2nd and 3rd PCI Slot. also refer the manual if you have one. you can download the manual form here http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=proddesc&maincat_no=1&prod_no=589#

I use intel945gcnl mother board.how i join front panel audio in and out.front panel usb connected but audio how. please explore with a diagram........sorry for my bad english

Inside your computer, look for the cables that are attached to the front panel audio and front panel usb, on the end of both cables you will see a rectangle plug, on your motherboard you will see ports that are designed exactly for the two plugs I have mentioned, at this point you plug them into the relevant ports. It is worth noting that these plugs are slightly different from eachother, thereby preventing you from plugging them in to the incorrect sockets.

If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate in asking,

Chris

Sound cable connection

Look more closely at your motherboard, for a 4-pin "PC Speaker" label.

The "HD Audio" is _OUTPUT_ (left front, sub-woofer, right front, left back, right back) to Surround Sound speakers.

Not work audio front panel. What`s the problems. How to connect cables in motherboard. please help

The front audio panel will only work if connected to motherboard. Try
connecting to the audio panel in the back of the computer (directly
to the motherboard). If the rear panel audio plug (green) doesn't work
then the audio drivers that came with the motherboard might need to
be installed. Check your audio driver status with operating system.

Loose wire

Delva,

This is the cd audio cable most people currently do not need this cable. It connects on your motherboard to the back of your Optical drive (CD or DVD).

The purpose of this cable is for play CD's in you optical drive and it sends the audio DIRECT to the sound card rather than piping it through the data cable and then redirected to the audio sub system. Its kind of like having a short cut to the sound card but is only used if you play CD audio disc in your CD/DVD. MP3's and other data are still sent through the data cable.

Hopefully you found this useful

Asus p5s-mx se motherboard

Hello,

The unit goes in a spare 5 11/2" drive bay, same type as your DVD player/writer; it is held in place with screws provided.

The audio cable connects to the 'front panel audio pinout' on your motherboard or if it is a plug there should be a backside slot cover provided that has a hole in it. You pass the plug through this hole and plug it into your audio ports, the green hole.

The1394 cable is called Firewire and connects to the firewire pinout on your motherboard.

The USB cable connects to an unused USB pinout on your motherboard.

Do you need a map of your motherboard that shows where these are? They are labeled clearly. If you have never had your hands in a PC to connect things to your motherboard LET ME KNOW and I'll advise you on how to do this safely so you don't damage anything or yourself.

If you have any other questions I didn't cover JUST ASK ME by commenting below and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Regards,
Worldvet
