Sounds like the remote wire on the stereo is either disconnected or connected to the battery +12V instead of the switched 12V (which is switched on/off by the ignition key). If the stereo turned off before and just recently it doesn't turn off with the key, I'd vote for a broken/disconnected wire.

I hooked up my pioneer dehx8600bh car stereo everything works perfectly except when I turn my head lights on the stereo loses power and factory reset every thing

Not sure what kind of car you have but,,, just for the heck of it, when you turn on your lights , try turning your interior dimmer all the way up. If the radio works again, then you have it powered from the wrong wire in the dash. It needs to go to a constant hot (12V) and Accy/ignition (12V) and not to a lighting wire which would power the back lighting of a factory radio.

My radio memory cant remember the channels after i have turn off the car power

The yellow wire from the stereo should be connected to a constant 12volt power source (battery). This controls memory for the stereo.

How to hook up a sirius radio to a alpine ada105 car stereo do i need any interface cables or anything else the stereo is sat radio ready

you shouldnt have to purchase any other cables to hook up sirus however somtimes due to the changes in the manufactor weather it be xm or sirius you may come across your radio not interfacting with the package you bought you might want to check the manufacture about this sirius 99 percent of the time will hook up to most JVC Alpine, Kenwood, ECT but you need to look at the back of your reciever at your connections on the back you should have in output and or input for for either aux in the back such as for a cd changer or in your case that will be used for your sirius hook up. My names Josh and i hope your able to get it figured out.

I was playing a cd and now nothing works

There may be a short somewhere between the radio and where it connects to the battery. JVC radios seem to do this quite often. Take your car to an authorized shop and have them examine it for bad wires. Do not overpay for them to install replacement wires, it should cost less than $150 if that's the case.

Thanks for asking.

My preset radio cant hold long ...

This is normally a problem that happens when the yellow wire on the harness is connected to the wrong voltage source. The yellow wire must be connected to a source that is always supplying 12 volts even with the car turned off. That is the way they keep all memory after the radio has been turned off and the car turned off. Check that the yellow wire has the voltage it needs when the car is off, if it does have that voltage, I can help you further, but this is the most common reason for your problem.

Radio Station Presets wont hold

hi girlygirl 1

the problem is your ignition and your permanant battery live wires are the wrong way round all you have to do is remove the stereo and you will usually see a red wire plug into another red wire and a yellow wire into another yellow wire all you have to do is change the red to the yellow and the yellow to the red and it will hold the memories fine hope that helps !

Radio comes on but i cant hear any music

You may be connecting this stereo into an amplified system. If the original factory stereo worked with the factory amplifier, your stereo is not turning the amplifier on. If you purchased the aftermarket wire harness that mates to the factory stereo connector, hook up the "Amplifier Trigger" wire, this wire is usually blue.
