I have Firefox and Internet Explorer, but I mainly use Firefox. I used to have the Yahoo Homepage automatically set, but now it is gone, too. I can get it by clicking on the purple "Y", but I'd like it to be automatic when I got to the little house. At least I still have the little house!

Hi, I'm guessing this would be in the "Microsoft Word," if so, do the following; look at the "Menu Bar," click on the "View" button, next select "Customize," and put a (check) next to the "items" you would like to see! You can pick the full toolbar or configure selected items just for your need. " I hope this helped! Rating the solution will let me know that that it did, thanks you."

    • Hi, sorry about that, do a "System Restore," try to remember when the problem first occurred; go to the "Control Panel from the Start Menu, click on the "start button," in the (right) pane is the Control Panel, select to open, in the next "window" find: "Hardware and Sound, open the next window, select from the (Back up and Restore Center) or by a "name that may differ' in Restore! Next click on the area that "say restore files," find the category that "read" Repair Windows ( System Restore). "You will choose the suggested (Restore) date furthest from the time... before the actual event of the problem. Follow all the instructions carefully, and be patient, it will take awhile. "Important!" Do not use the computer at all while the restore is running; the computer will Restart, and System Restore will still be fixing the problem, so do not touch anything until the "restore is completed 100%, the computer will let you know. "Rating the solution is appreciated, I hope it works out for you, thanks!"

I have lost my yahoo tool bar

If you're using internet explorer then look up under the area where you put address in where it says File, Edit, VIEW, Favorites etc. Click on VIEW. then touch where it says TOOLBARS. At the bottom of that list you should see Yahoo Toolbar. If it's disappeared there won't be a check in front of it. But when you click on it, it will add one ...and it will again appear where it was before.

If it doesn't show on the list you have somehow lost the yahoo toolbar (I doubt that's the case) and will need to go download it again. In case you don't know this you will get the option to get the yahoo toolbar when you download yahoo messenger too...

I seem to have lost my toolbar that has the forward/back button and the addy box... the bookmarks are gone and the File/View/tools also. I have windows 7 and I am using firefox

If you are in firefox and press F10 that should show your "File, edit, view etc" bar.

Alt + V to display your "View" menu and then turn back on your toolbars in the "Toolbars" menu

I have lost back, forward and edit, history, bookmark, tool etc. on top how can i get it back?

The Firefox "menu bar" includes dropdown menus for various tasks (including "File", "Edit", etc.). If the menu bar does not display, press the "Alt" key (if you are using Windows). That will restore the menu bar temporarily. To restore it permanently, go to the menu bar and select:
View > Toolbars > Menu bar

The Firefox "navigation toolbar" includes the "back", "forward", "reload" buttons, and the address bar (where you type a web address). If the navigation bar does not display, go to the menu bar and select:
View > Toolbars > Navigation toolbar

The Firefox "bookmarks toolbar" displays frequently used bookmarks. If the bookmark toolbar does not display, go to the menu bar and select:
View > Toolbars > Bookmarks toolbar

My favorites button has disappeared from my toolbar. I don't know how to retrieve it. What can I do? When I go to my MSN home page, my tool bar that had file option, edit option etc has disappeared and I...

On Internet explorer on the right hand side you should see "tools" click on that button and a drop-down appears - look for toolbars click on toolbars and another menu drops out There you can see all the toolbars the PC knows about and if there's a tick against it - then it should be displayed - if not tick - then click on it and a tick should appear and the toolbar should also appear
