I was charging a traxxas 3000 mah battery at 3.0 amps and after 28 min 43 sec it showed a full charge but only input 1334 mah. i have charged this battery only 2 times previously on this charger and charged to about 2900+. my 3300 battery charges ok. what am i doing wrong?

You are not doing anything wrong, chances are that you just did not fully discharge this battery before charging. You will notice that all batteries will vary from charge to charge, but this is normal. Have fun with the cars. Hope this helps.

The voltmeter test provides a general indicatorof battery condition. Check the voltage of the battery to verify that it is in a 100% fully charged condition. If the open circuit (disconnected) voltage reading is below 12.6V, charge the battery and then recheck the voltage after the battery has set for one to two hours. If the voltage reading is 12.8V or above, perform the load test described below.



The load test measures battery performance under full current load and is the best indicator of battery condition. Load testing a battery tat is not FULLY CHARGED i.e. at 12.8 VDC can permanently damage it. Fully charge it first and then let it stand for at least an hour before the load test is done. You also need a load tester. AND you should know how to perform a load test. Often the best way to load test a battery will be to take it to a battery shop and have it done there.



VOLTAGE (OCV) STATE OF CHARGE FOR AGM BATTERIES IS:

12.8 VDC = 100%

12.6 VDC = 75%

12.3 VDC = 50%

You need a new battery that supplies the full 2400 mah to unit. Batteries do wear out and the 1800 mah is not going to cut it.

This product is made by Karuna Borneo. It is a power charger, model KBM300. It charges my iPhone when low. It is a Li-Polymer battery, 3.7 volts/3000 mAh. The video shows it plugged in to the wall


did you use it before you charged it the first time ?? If so it may never take a full charge because ive been told they are set at what ever the first charge is set at and they dont come fully charged.

Battery discharges in about 3 days if not run.


it may have deffective diode on the charging system(the alternator). 14 volts is an over charge in a battery. ampere reading must be on what the battery designed.

New 6600 mAh battery won't charge


Is the AC adapter the original that came with the laptop or is it a replacement?
Check the label on the laptop (on the bottom of the laptop) for the voltage and current requirements.
Check voltage output of the adapter with a multimeter, this voltage should be slightly higher that the voltage than what is shown on the adapter's label because there is no load on the adapter.
It could be that the current (amps) that the adapter is delivering less power than the laptop's requirements, whilst it can power the laptop it may not be sufficient to charge the battery fully.
Try charging the battery overnight by shutting down the laptop but leaving it connected to the mains. Then boot up the laptop in the morning and check the battery's charge state. If the battery is at or near full capacity, then the problem is a (part) faulty adapter.
