How do I clear an error code FO on my GE oven

it usually means the touch pad or the oven control is defective.

I have a kenmore oven that will beep at times and show the error code FO. If I press start it stops for a while but will start up again later. Sometimes it can go weeks with no problem, other times only...

fo stands for fan oven , sounds like the fan is giving trouble

I keep getting FO code and beeping won't clear

Hello George,

The F0 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F0 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced .

Hello, I had the same FO error. It turned out that the ribbon cable from the front panel was not making good contact where it mated with the circuit board. Remove ribbon cable and clean contacts on ribbon cable. Replace cable and problem should resolve.

F0 or F1 Failed transistor in control If code cannot be cancelled, replace the Electronic Range Control (ERC) or touch pad

Ariston oven error code F8E0

solved by rotate the temperature knob!!!
maybe would be a problem of the potentiometer or knobe of temperature

if it is an E0-F2 error code then i believe it is for a bad control or keypad.. i would replace both.

Fo function error code

The F0 usually means that there is a problem with the keypad.

F0 Function key stuck Replace touch pad or if touch pad is part of the clock, replace the clock (ERC).

According to the GE User manual... any F# error code means you have a function error and they suggest you press the CLEAR/OFF pad and allow the oven to cool for one hour. Then put the oven back into operation. If the function code repeats, disconnect all power from th eoven for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect it.. If it still comes back.. call for service.. however it has been my observation that F0 is usually a shorted off key on the keypad. Hope this helps..

SOURCE: dacor single oven flashes an F2 error code and won't stop beeping!!!

This is from manufacture service manual:

-F2- Alarm Heating Mode High Temperature
Is activated when the ERC senses a runaway heat condition or when the temperature exceeds
“runaway limits”. The ERC will beep until the cancel or another function is selected. If the alarm
repeats the F2 alarm check the oven sensor and wiring after fi rst checking for a stuck relay. If alarm
goes away verify the oven will complete a clean cycle without any type of failure.
Another words the problem with oven sensor or relay board.
