We need more information about your problem to properly diagnose it. Boot up your PC, then press F1 when you reach the boot screen. Under "Boot Devices" you should have a hard drive listed. If not, your hard drive needs to be replaced. If you do see the hard drive listed, you need to reinstall an operating system.

The audio on the cq60 laptops uses Microsoft's Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) bus. (Ignore the first paragraph about Realtek drivers, since your computer has the Conexant hardware.)
After UAA is working correctly, you can install the Conexant audio driver.
