Hi!
If you could post the whole error message. That would be great.
It could be a couple of things. It could be a damaged vb project file or vb file or modules and so on. But most likely this is a damaged vbproject file. Thats the reason why it does not load. I think I remember having this kind of error before. You should try this. What I did before was I copied the other files like the vbs, modules, class files to another folder. Then I created another Project where I copied those files. Then all I had to do is modify the setting or the properties of the new project so that It would load my default form or mainform.
I hope this helps you out.

    I see. Your reference to the webbrowser tool may have been removed.

    You would need to load the webbrowser tool. You could right click the toolbar and add it there or you could go to project then add reference or references.

    You need to load the web browser to be able to use it.

    I hope this helps.

We are getting the oL message even when we wash a light load or even run the machine empty. The machine seems to be spinning, but cuts off with the "oL" message sometime between the rinse and...

Hi

Error OL means that the washer has sensed an overload (OL) condition. It can also be a false error code appearing due to faulty lid switch. Sometimes this error code appears when lid is not closed/opened properly. You can check the lid switch for any disconnections, if the connection to lid switch is fine then use a multimeter to check the continuity of the lid switch. If the lid switch is fine then there is a piece of clothing stuck between inner basket and the outer tub. Disconnect the washer from the power outlet and then try moving the drum with your hand and check if it turns freely or is offering any resistance. If it is not moving freely then it is due to rusted drive shaft or motor. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more assistance.

How to run vb

How to Run a Visual Basic Program on a PC By an eHow Contributor

Like C++, C Sharp and Java, Visual Basic (VB) is an object oriented programming language. Recently it was integrated to the Microsoft .NET Framework. The .NET Framework is a software infrastructure that speeds up program development. It is supported by the Microsoft Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment (IDE), Microsoft's chief programming environment, and that of SharpDevelop.
Difficulty: Easy Instructions Things You'll Need:

  • Visual Microsoft Studio and .NET Framework
  1. Launch your Microsoft Visual Studio. It is a "heavy" application so depending on how much RAM you have it may take a few minutes to load.
  2. Click the Project tab on the first screen. Notice two buttons at the bottom of the screen named "New Project" and "Open Project." Since the tutorial assumes that this is your first VB program, click the "New Project" button. If you worked on a project before, its name will appear in an area labeled "Open an Existing Project" with a hyperlink that opens the project.
  3. Select "Windows Application" in the "Visual Basic Projects" folder if you intend to run your end program on a computer running a Microsoft Windows operating system. Focus in the "Name" text box near the bottom. Change the name from the default to something more descriptive such as "MyFirstVBProgram." Leave the Location to the default value to save your project to the "My Documents" folder. Press OK.
  4. Concentrate on the grey square area with the arrays of dots. This is the "form." The pinboard shows where components like buttons and text boxes will be installed to make a complete graphic user interface (GUI). The purpose of the grid is to align the components.
  5. Run your program. Click "Debug" from the menu bar. Click "Start" from the drop down menu. Alternatively, you can press F5 on your keyboard.
  6. Enjoy your first Visual Basic program in its simplest form. It is identical to the form in Step 4 except that the dots are gone. What you are looking at is a stand alone program that exists as an ".exe" file having the same name as your project. You can find it under the MyFirstVBProgram folder by default.
  7. Understand the difference between the two distinct environments of the IDE, the Design Environment and the Debug Environment. You saw the Design Environment in Step 4 of this tutorial. That was the environment where you could design a GUI on the form using your mouse. The Debug Environment takes over during the compilation interval in Step 5. That is where you can insert break points in your source code so that you test the correctness of the program.

Problem with opening templates in Word 2007

I think you need a service pack with some old libraries supported.. This is quite common when upgrading to higher levels of VB.. eg 3 to 5 or 6 etc. If you have the un-compiled code, it can be fixed.. Or load an early version of VB will also fix it. If you have the code, send it to me. Let me know how it goes.. Rgds,

this the code for your problem. by the way this for vb6.0

Sub CountCharacters(Text As String)
Dim iVowel As Integer
Dim iCons As Integer
Dim iNum As Integer
Dim iSpace As Integer
Dim iOther As Integer

Dim cnt As Integer
Dim sChar As String

For cnt = 1 To Len(Text)
sChar = LCase(Mid(Text, cnt, 1))

Select Case sChar
Case "a", "e", "i", "o", "u" ' And sometimes "y"?
' Vowel
iVowel = iVowel + 1
Case "a" To "z"
' Includes the first case, but VB matches the first case and stops
iCons = iCons + 1
Case "0" To "9"
' Numbers
iNum = iNum + 1
Case " ", vbTab, vbLf
' Space characters
' Not including vbCr as this will likely be dealing with Windows text
' and I only want to match one character for a newline
iSpace = iSpace + 1
Case Else
If sChar <> vbCr Then iOther = iOther + 1
End Select
Next cnt

Debug.Print "Text: " & Text
Debug.Print "Vowels: " & CStr(iVowel)
Debug.Print "Consonants: " & CStr(iCons)
Debug.Print "Numbers: " & CStr(iNum)
Debug.Print "Space characters: " & CStr(iSpace)
Debug.Print "Other: " & CStr(iOther)
End Sub
