I just have a question on the gas to use. I have a craftsman push lawnmower gas powered. I wondered if you use regular gas and does it need the oil mix

What kind of gas to used on lawn mower 55 158 cc craftman

Ori Hi, most lawnmowers use regular unleaded petrol now. If you have somewhere that oil goes into your mower then it will be normal unleaded but if on the fuel cap it has an oil can picture you need to mix it with two stroke oil.

Straight gas. Look around, and you will see where to fill the engine with regular sae 30 oil, and on lawnmowers, if you have a place to fill it with oil, you don't mix oil with the gas.

Lawnmower is spewing white smoke

white smoke means that there is water in the fuel air mixture during combustion. a bluish white smoke means oil is being burned during combustion. take another look and make sure which one it is. since all mowers ive seen are air cooled the only way water can be getting in the fuel air mixture is through the gas cap. check your gas tank and gas can for water. may be best to empty both and start over with fresh fuel

I have a troybuilt push lawnmower with a honda motor, I was wondering where the oil plug was where I can drain the oil.

It is under the mower, you will need a 3/8 ratchet and extension to take it out...make sure NOT to tip the mower over, you will have to raise it, but make sure the spark plug end stays up!!!
