I recently bought a samsung side by side refridgerator i accidentally scratch my handles, and are deep scratches as i can see the white material beneath the metallic coding.

My Name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.
I assume you wish to remove the handles to replace them.
These handles are usually attached to the doors in one of two ways:
1.) There are two 3/32" Hex key screws, one at the top and one at bottom of each handle. Unscrew ( Back off) the screw until the Handle comes off. It is not necessary to completely remove the screw.
2.) There two brackets mounted on each refrigerator door. One at the top & one at the top and one bottom of each handle. There are two screws on the handle, one at the top and one at the bottom. These screw fit into a oversize hole on the bracket. There is a slot below the oversize hole that you push the screws on the back of the handle down into. So, to remove the handle pull up on the handle. You will need some muscle to pull the handle up.
Over time handles with the mounting bracket on the door become loose. You have to remove the handle (pull up) and tighten the bracket mounting screws on the door. Put the handle back on and push down to lock.

Rusted metal peice fell off undercarriage of my car

it was an exhaust hanger bracket, thro it in the trunk and one day when the flex pipe rotts thru get the nice guy who is fixing the exhaust to weld it back on!!!!

How to remove door handle on 99 oldsmobile aurora

unscrew the 2 screws on the bottom of the inside panel, then unscrew the large phillips head right behind the interior handle and remove the plastic cover next, you need something stiff and wide and flat, like a large meal file with a t-shirt wrapped around it so it doesnt **** up the leather pry it UP and a little bit outward and it will pop off, I was going on the fly and broke the little brackets and I had to us 1minute gasket to seal them back on really well. the connectors come off by the little clips on the side, stick a flathead along he side of the connectors and they will click out, you will feel them slip loose. not the panel should come free from the coor. next you need to remove the flat metal cover that has 2 bolts in it, basically right in the middle with the right side bolt touching the lock mechanism as well. it will unbolt then slide the tabs down and out...easy. the door handle is held on by 2 bolts, youll have to squeeze your hands to the right of the metal slider for the window and over the metal bars for the lock. I got the left one with a wrench and the right one I had to stick my left hand where I mentioned and m right hand had the wrench. the handle will be free by then, and you can slide the left side out first. then gently pull the bottom of the handle housing out and to the left at the same time and it will pop out. un-screw the two bolts to remove the bars from the lock on the bottom and the top elbow comes off as one piece with the metal bar going downward.
and there you go buddy...I just had to fix my door handle and it reuied removing it, just did it today. took about 2 hours, but I had no idea what was doing and had to figure out the mechanism by broke conveniently enough!

if the door is locked and wont open from the inside or outside then you have to remove the interior door trim, this can be tricky as the seat is in the way, you can often just remove al the top brackets holding the door trim on and get your hand down inside the door to pull the metal bar than opens the door.

Do you need a step by step guide? you can do this your self, quite an easy job just takes a little patience.

My Front left tire is tilted inward and underneath the truck i found one of the support bars that run's across is broken off on the left side. I looked around the wheel and found that no metal was bent so...

General Description
The front suspension allows each wheel to compensate for changes in the road surface without affecting the opposite wheel. Each wheel independently connects to the frame with a steering knuckle, ball joint assemblies, and upper and lower control arms.
The control arms specifically allow the steering knuckles to move in a three-dimensional arc. Two tie rods connect to steering arms on the knuckles and an intermediate rod. These operate the front wheels.
The two-wheel drive vehicles have coil chassis springs. These springs are mounted between the spring housings on the frame and the lower control arms. Double, direct acting shock absorbers are inside the coil springs. The coil springs attach to the lower control arms and offer ride control.
The upper part of each shock absorber extends through the upper control arm frame bracket. This bracket has two grommets, two grommet retainers, and a nut.
A spring stabilizer shaft controls the side roll of the front suspension. This shaft is mounted in rubber bushings that are held by brackets to the frame side rails. The ends of the stabilizer shaft connect to the lower control arms with link bolts. Rubber grommets isolate these link bolts. Rubber bushings attach the upper control arm to a cross shaft. Frame brackets bolt the cross shaft.
A ball joint assembly is riveted to the outer end of the upper control arm. A rubber spring in the control arm assures that the ball seats properly in the socket. A castellated nut and a cotter pin join the steering knuckle to the upper ball joint.
The inner ends of the lower control arm have pressed-in bushings. The bolts pass through the bushings and join the arm to the frame. The lower ball joint assembly is a press fit in the lower control arm and attaches to the steering knuckle with a castellated nut and a cotter pin.
Ball socket assemblies have rubber grease seals. These seals prevent entry of moisture and dirt and damage to the bearing surfaces.
Four-wheel drive models have a front suspension that consists of the control arms, a stabilizer bar, a shock absorber, and right and left torsion bars. The torsion bars replace the conventional coil springs. The lower control arm attaches to the front end of the torsion bar. The rear end of the torsion bar mounts on an adjustable arm at the crossmember. This arm adjustment controls the vehicle trim height.
Two-wheel drive vehicles have tapered roller sheel bearings. These bearings are adjustible and need lubrication.
Four-wheel drive models and RWD Utilities have sealed front-wheel bearings. These bearings are pre-adjusted and need no lubrication.
Heat treatment may create darkened areas on the bearing assembly. This discoloration does not signal a need for replacement.

How to attach hand brakes? how do i loosen handle bars to adjust?

The bolt you see right above where the handle turns is the handle bar clamp. And if it's been on a while you'll need to take a piece of strong wood and hold it on the bolt, when it's lossened a bit, and hit it with a hammer to fully loosen the handle bars.
Hand brakes should come with clamps to put on the hadle bars, and if you look at bikes that have hand brake, you'll see how to route the cable. The only problwem is if your bike doesn't have the part taht the brake would screw to at the wheel. Then you'll have to improvise.

My shift key came off and i can't get it back on

Normally the metal bar is used as retention in order to elevate the key after it has been used.

Commonly, the metal bar should be taken out, attached to the key itself. When re attaching, the metal bar should have plastic brackets on the keyboard where the metal bar must be placed into. It's tricky, but 3 to 5 tries usually solves the problem for me.

Tailgate latch will not pull the rods far enough to open the tailgate?

it most likely seems to be the handle bracket the rods are attached to are froze. a lot of penetrating oil such as PB blaster needs to be applied. work the handle several times. it may take several applications to get it free enough to open if you have access to the back side of the handle channel lock the two brackets till it opens remove the handle and work it free. In most cases the repair wont last too long. I get a lot of tailgate handles I have to replace because of the oxidation between the two metal brackets joined togather

My Audi A4 drivers seat side control panel has come off. How can I fix it? can I get the replacement panel? Thanks, AJ

1) The Electrical panel on the side has a black bar that is the mounting bracket. It is only clipped in place on the plastic outer casing. the black metal bar is attached with 2 shoulder screws. these probably just worked themself loose nad dropped out. Go to your dealer parts counter and ask them for the 2 screws. Remount the black bracket and then re clip the case to the bar.
