X1270 printer not working, error messages

Problem caused by ui5c.dll

Spooler subsystem app stopped working and was closed

    i tried restarting the spooler and it dont work..

I had problems to start the spooler system and got it done.Tryed to download the cd to reinstall the printer but it says that the printer driver is not installed.I rechecked it and it is started The...


Go to Printers and Faxs in your start menu. Look and see if your printer is listed. If not choose "Add a Printer" on the left side of the window and go through the steps to install the printer. Let me know if this works.

Transfer belt unrecognizable


If memory serves me right, after you replace the belt, you power machine on, wait for the error message, open the cover then close it. It should re-initialize the new belt.

If not, try turning it off, open the cover, then turn it on, wait for the "close cover" message, then close cover.

It was some weird combination, but that's how you reset the count.

Printer Problem


error occurred
1. Press CANCEL JOB to clear the print job from the printer memory.
2. Turn the printer off, and then turn the printer on.
3. Try printing a job from a different software application. If the job prints, go back to the first application and try printing a different file. (If the message only appears with a certain software application or print job, contact the software vendor for assistance.)
4. If the message persists with different software applications and print jobs, disconnect all cables to the printer that connect it to the network or printer.
5. Turn the printer off.
6. Remove all memory DIMMs or third-party DIMMs from the printer. (Do not remove the firmware DIMM in the lowest DIMM slot.)
7. Remove all EIO devices from the printer.
8. Turn the printer on.
9. If the error no longer exists, install each DIMM and EIO device one at a time, making sure to turn the printer off and back on as you install each device.
10. Replace a DIMM or EIO device if you determine that it causes the error.
11. Remember to reconnect all cables that connect the printer to the network or computer.
12. If the error persists, replace the firmware DIMM.
13. Replace the formatter.

Power off the printer. Unplug the printer's USB cable for 5 seconds replug turn on the printer. If that fails power off the PC and printer unplug the USB cable at the PC and printer replug and power back on the PC. After PC is fully booted turn the printer back on. If this keeps reoccurring please replace the USB cable and or try different USB ports.

I had the same problem. Adding twain_32.dll to the Windowsfolder solved the problem. For people who don't want to search for it: Look Here.
Then you won't get this error but one saying to reinstall the printer driver. Just do it and the problem is solved.

I am unable to cancel a waiting docment that i do not want to print


I shut my computer down unpluged the printer from the back of the computer then put it all back went to look on the computer to check that I had the right printer on the computer that is how I fixed it.

I JUST STARTED THE SET UP ON MY NEW PRINTER C5180 PHOTOSMART SERIES, I FOLLOWED THE SET UP DIRECTIONS, I AM UP TO STEP 11 CLOSE THE ACESS DOOR AND PRESS OK AND NOTHING HAPPENS, IT IS SUPPOSED TO PRINT...

There might be a problem with Printer Spooling Service. If you are using Windows do the following:

1. Go to start.
2. Choose "Run" and type: services.msc.
3. Press the Enter/Return key on your keyboard.
4. A screen will pop up. Locate the "Print Spooler" service.
5. Doubleclick it, if it has stopped: click Start.
If it is already running, click, Stop, and then Start.
6. Try printing again.
