I think that the unit is going into protective shutdown because it has detected an
internal problem. I would suggest that you invest in a detailed repair
estimate that will cost about $100-$150 depending upon your location.
It might cost even less, especially if you take it in. You could also contact Zenith and see what they might say about this problem first before taking it in.
