Question about Kenwood KDC-X591 CD Player
You stated that you entered the code for your car stereo, but still, your Kenwood won't work.
If the code won't work, you need to verify the code, to see if you have the correct stereo code. You actually need to take the stereo out, get the serial number on the side, then contact the car dealer or the manufacturer to verify the code that you have.
This code is also called the "anti-theft" code. It is unique with every car stereo, so that the stereo will be disabled once stolen.
Only the dealer or the manufacturer can give you the correct code, or can verify the code that you have. Contacting them would be the best thing to do.
Thank you and good luck!

You may need to refer to page 21 on the user manual.
It depends on the situation in which you are required to enter the code.
In case the car battery had died then you have to reset the code and chose a new one.
If you had taken the CD player out of the car and are putting it back in, then you have to use the code that you setup previously.
Hope it makes sense.
