Question about Philips SpeechMike Pro 5274 Handheld Voice Recorder
We have Dell Optiplex 780 PC and have problems with the Philllips Speechmike being detected. You have to replug the device. Is this a known problem?
It's known! The bad news is that the only way to make sure the device is recognized is to attach it through an external USB-hub (it requires 300 mA continuosly, and you can only trust the PC to allways deliver 100 mA - allthough USB 2.0 must be able to deliver 500 mA at occassions).
You should also disable any other sound devices, like built in Realtek, SoundMax etc.....
