Question about Everest & Jennings 18" Metro Ic3 Lightweight Wheelchair
PROBLEM:I have the Everest & Jennings Metro IC4 wheel chair for my wife. (6 mos)The front wheels have a threaded rod on the end w/a bolt. Backing up the wheel chair...wheels turn around and expose the threaded rod going through the bolt. IT TEARS UP MY MOLDING as my wife manuvers through the doorways.I am a retired Director of Industrial Design & Human Factors Engineering .Do you have a form fitting cap to negate this problem?
You might try Lowe's or Home Depot's hardware section. They might have a plastic bolt cover or plastic nut that you could put over the threaded end.
