The laptop screen may turn white because of
poor connection between the video cable and the LCD screen. What you are getting is pure lamp, meaning the inverted is good. If you want
to check the video cable connection coming from the motherboard to the LCD, you’ll have to take apart the display panel
because the connector is located on the back side of the LCD screen and the motherboard. It is not an easy task for the regular user (even experienced ones).
Try using an external monitor and press FN+F7 and see if you get display on the external monitor... you can use it like that in the meantime. But you have to take it in for repair to replace the screen.
