2006 infiniti m35 no sound from speakers

Yes an amp that is not working could cause this to happen. But I would check it out a little more because when you did the speaker test and all the speakers worked then that doesn't sound right. Find the amp and it could be just a loose connection that is giving you all these problems. Good Luck

No sound plays (radio or compact disc both just play with no sound coming out)

Hi, I used to be a car audio installs manager with Mecp certification. Since I am not personally there to have a look. I'm going to tell you the most common problems related with your topic.
What car is it? Sometimes, cars that come factory equipped with their own amplifiers require some wiring work other than just installing the radio.
Probably the most common problem with "no sound" in car audio would be to check the wiring behind the radio. Many cars I have fixed was a problem with the radio adaptor that fits your model car with this model radio. It's usually not on tight or it's faulty.
Here is a way you can test the lines to ensure the car's wiring itself is in working order. Get a 9 volt battery and put the speaker leads and touch the two terminals with the battery. (Positive lead to one side of the battery and the negative to the other) The order doesn't matter. You should hear the speaker making a funny noise. At this point you can rule out that the wiring TO the speakers are good.
Please explain also if this radio was working before? Or was it installed not working? Did you buy this radio new or used? The more you answer, the more I can answer. Hope this helps... =)

Xtreme sound wms303 cd player..... need a new one?

It sounds like if it only works a day or two and then you disconnect it and re-connect it, and it works again for a day or two, I don't think the problem is how you are connecting it. I think the radio needs to be reset every couple of days. If it has a reset button, just press that and it will at least keep you from disconnecting it and reconnecting it.

This also sounds like it has an internal electronic problem. When you disconnect the radio, it resets the microprocessor. You should have it checked out by a service center, or if you do not want to spend any money on this radio, just get a new one.

The radio plays the CD but the faceplate is dead

Maybe the radio need to be reset. Try disconnecting the battery cable for 5 to ten minutes. If that does not work, the radio will need to be serviced or replaced. Good Luck

Cd plays, but no sound

Disconnect the blue wire from the back of the radio and connect the blue/white wire in its place. This should fix your problem.
