Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Is your wireless turned on both on the system and the wireless router? Do you have a wireless connection setup?
If not then these may be your issue. You also need to go into your internet settings on your ps3 and the select your connection type for example: wired or wireless then > select scan> if there are any in the area select your> rename it if you want> put in the passcode if there is one> make sure everything is correct> then test the connection. If the test works then your fine.
On the other hand if you don't have a wireless router or a wireless connection setup on that will be an issue. with your wireless router they should have included instructions on how to setup the wifi network. Follow those and the problem should be solved rather quickly. Once the wifi is set up just refer back to my previous paragraph and follow those instructions again.
