Sorry, that is not possible. Different manufacturers use different companding, noise reduction, and squelch schemes. Thus, even if they are on the same frequency, you might not get any audio or the audio might sound quite funny.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Weak audio static uc2-ub handheld

Sounds like either local interference or it needs to go to Shure for repair. Can you try it in another location maybe 10 miles or further away from the present location. If it operates in the MHz band you need to replace it, it is illegel to use that band in the US..

Have an Aiptek HD 12 1080p with Azden wireless mic system. no sound with wireless mic, but sound works on camcorder without the wireless.

you need to use a mono-to-stereo cable, the azden is a mono output mic by the aiptek is a stereo input and you are shorting out the phantom power with a mono plug in a stereo jack.

The easiest way to change the microphone is to sync it to the receiver.

Is the frequency used by Shure UT2/ 58/ PG58 wireless mics still valid or legal, since the Fed have changed frequencies lately?

It depends on the specific frequency that you have. Some of the UT systems operated between 698 and 806 MHz, and they are now illegal.

Other UT systems operated below 698 MHz and those are still legal to use.

Look at the frequency that is on the sticker on the back or bottom of the receiver or the sticker that is in the battery compartment of the microphone.

Unfortunately, there are no new receivers available that can be used. You'll have to try to find a used Shure receiver on that exact frequency.

Hi, I have only the transmitter shure SM58/LX2 (173.800 Mhz) and I`m trying to buy the right receiver for it. Which one should I pick? Do I have to buy the one with the exactly same frequency...

Any Shure receiver that operates exactly at 173.800 MHz will work with your transmitter. These receivers have been discontinued for several years, so it will not be easy finding one on the exact frequency that you need.
