Question about Mitsubishi HC100U Multimedia Projector
I've had an HC1500 for about three months. Works great, but I noticed recently that, for no apparent reason, the image is skewed diagonally to the left by 15 degrees, giving the projection image a rhombus shape. The projector is not mounted, just sitting flat on an entertainment center. I did not have this problem until a week ago, it all seemed fine and I have not moved the projector in taht time.
I've worked on a few Mitsubishi's in my lifetime and one of their most common problems is the DMD Board that goes faulty and this makes the image go all pear shaped.
If you've only had the unit for 3 months now it should still be under warranty and the warranty covers these kind of repairs.
Hope this helps you !
