You can use one "wireless print server" for each printer. This is to connect (wireless) each printer at the existing wireless network. As I don't where you come from, I suggest to google for it. In my opinion this type of connection is not as stable and speedy as the cable, but if you want to avoid cables it's the only choice for printers with just USB or (the old) printer port. In case your printers already have ethernet connection, take a look at Devolo's site in order to use the power supply outlets as network connections.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply.

Go into your computer printer set-up and check if there are any jobs left to print. Check manual or tech support. Maybe youtube has video on it.

Linux driver

Printing via USB:

  1. Get the samsungmfp- repository.
  2. Install samsungmfp-driver (samsungmfp-data will be installed automatically as a dependency).
  3. Go to Administration > Printing and delete previously created printer device(s).
  4. Connect printer via USB.
  5. Once new device has been created, go to Properties and change the Make and Model to Samsung SCX 4521F All-In-One.

For wireless printing:

  1. Connect to your printer. To get the IP address of your printer:
    1. Hold down on the printer power button for about 5 seconds; light will start to flash and when it begins to flash even faster let it go. This will print out the Configuration and Network Report.
    2. Locate the IP address on the Network Report and type it into your web browser.
  2. Once you are in the SyncThru Web Service, go to Network Settings and than to Wireless.
  3. Configure your Wireless Setting through the Wizard and follow the setup process (note that if your SSID contains space your network will not be displayed).
  4. Once the printer is connected to your LAN go to printer setting (Administration > Printing; Properties).
  5. Click the Change button for the Device URI.
  6. Go to Network Printer > Find Network Printer and type in the IP address of your printer.
  7. Apply the settings when it find the PASSTHRU. Device URI should looks something like this: lpd://[IP Address]/PASSTHRU.

Brand new aspire 5732z laptop comes up with code 31 fault on virtual wifi miniport adaptor says it has driver fault, what can I do

The Microsoft virtual wifi miniport adapter is a new feature in Windows 7, Wireless Hosted Network:

About the Wireless Hosted Network

This device is just a virtual device and it should not affect connecting the wireless network with the physical wireless adapter.

Hence, I’d suggest you to uninstall and re-install only the wireless network adapter drivers from Device manager and check if that fixes the issue.

Before uninstalling the drivers from the device manager, make sure you have a backup of the installation files.

It’s a good idea to create a restore point before uninstalling the drivers. A restore point is a representation of a stored state of your computer's system files. You can use a restore point to restore your computer's system files to an earlier point in time. Restore points are automatically created by System Restore weekly and when System Restore detects the beginning of a change to your computer, such as when you install a program or a driver.

Create a restore point
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Create-a-restore-point

Visit the manufacturer’s website, download the latest wireless drivers and save it on your hard disk.

To uninstall the wireless connection from Device Manager,

1. Click Start, type Device Manager in the Start search box and hit Enter.
2. Locate Network adapters and expand the same.
3. Select the wireless connection, right-click and select Uninstall.
4. Restart the computer, if prompted.

Drivers should get installed automatically after restarting the computer.

Now, you may install the latest wireless drivers and check if that fixes the issue.

Hope this helps

How to connect wirelessly mfc-440cn printer.... i need help, please

Hi!
I checked and this printer is not in itself a wireless device. This means you will need some sort of "wireless router" to plug the printer into.

Go to your favorite electronics store and get a decent wireless router. Linksys is a good brand and reasonably priced. You'll also need a small section of network cable to plug into your printer and into the wireless router.

Once you have this set up, you'll be able to take your laptop or other wireless device and "see" the printer on the wireless network.

Good luck! Don't forget to rate the posts!

Printer and computer no communication

Unless you have a wireless router to conduct traffic, you won't be able to print wirelessly to the AIO 966.

You will need a cable (and it's possible the printer didn't come with one). You'll need a USB A-B cable to do this. You can find one at any office supply store, Radio Shack, Target... it's a common part.

Then with with laptop and printer on, plug in the cable to each and Windows should recognize the device and you'll be able to print.

How to start wireless in Toshiba Satellite 1905 s 301

What you need first is to install the wireless driver for your wireless card in your computer. If you don't have one you need to purchase a wireless card.
Then read the following info to decide what type of Internet access you require.

Wireless connections to the Internet can be achieved by several methods and it depends upon the method of delivery by the Internet Service Provider in your location.
The most common is by DSL and cable, the modems that are used with DSL and cable connection can have a built-in wireless router. Your computer will require a wireless card to connect to the modem/wireless router and the range is restricted to approx. 100 ft depending where the wireless router is located within the building.

The laptop's wireless card can be a built-in device or a plug-in device eg a PCMCIA card or a USB device. and these can also connect to a wifi hot spot in locations such as McDonalds. Star Bucks etc.

There is another method that can connect into the Internet that uses a USB wireless device that connects to a G3 network, bacically a type of mobile transmission and the device is locked into a specific Internet Service Provider. This method gives a wider mobile range (even across states) of connecting to the Internet but usually at a higher cost.

Basically you need to see what the Internet Service Providers offer in your location. Beware of the costs of the various plans they offer in broadband speed, their download limits and the penality for exceeding the limits etc.

When you decide which method you choose, you need to consider setting up your wireless network securely to prevent unauthorized access.
