Problem with GE Unitized Spacemaker Washer and Gas Dryer, WSM2480DWW

GE Spacemaker stackable washer/dryer

My washer has quit agitating or spinning. How do I get to the inside and check the belt? Is there a trick? Do I go in through the back or the front? Please help. I don't have the extra money to call a repairman nor do I have the money to buy a new one. Please help me. Tired of going to laundromat.

You should go in through the front. Use a flashlight and look between the front panel and the top panel. You should see some clips there. Stick a flathead screwdriver into the clips to pop the top up and then remove the front. The front may be held in by screws, but since I don't know which model you have, look inside once you pop the top and see if there are screws. Then you should be able to remove the front panel and see the belt.

I had to remove two screws on the bottom of the front panel then sort of tip the unit back and it popped right off. pretty easy, actually.
