I have no red color - using geforce 6150 le. It's not the monitor (have tried changing monitors - problem remains. It's not the cable either. When I unplug the cable and just do the monitor selftest the colors are fine. I'm running Windows XP SP3 on a Dell Dimension C521.

Simple test - use another cable, of another format (DVI instead of VGA). If it's the same then the card has died, replace it.

Hello, my video card is nvidia geforce 6150 le and the red color is gone, thank you for your help.

You should be able to adjust the color balance for the card. There will be software on your machine that allows you to set the color balance and other things. Usually there is at least some red However if the red is totally gone then it could be a problem with the cabling/connector between the desktop and the monitor, like a loose pin or wire. It is possible that it may be the monitor that has the red out. So first check your connections and your color balance. If that seems ok then try another monitor before you go further. If a different monitor has the same problem (with different cabling too) then you will know.

I know that when i did this in vista i click a dropdown box where the name of my monitor was and the selected my 2nd monitor and the number 2 highlighted and i could change it as i wanted. No color Red, Dell XPS 400, NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE video card

Mike,

I would recommend for you to try different monitor, so that you can isolate the problem.

If same problem occur, try to plug in your video card into another PCI slot in your computer. Cleaning the gold fingers of the video card with a clean cotton cloth might help.

Use a blower to remove some dust on the PCI slot.

Or try inserting the video card in another computer. If you get the same problem on another computer, you need to replace the card.

Good luck!

Monitor will not come on

Try to remove the wire connecting from the monitor to motherboard if there was a display in the monitor then no problem with your monitor. Try to check the battery in motherboard.

Colors have gone wrong

There could be 3 reasons for this...

1. If color settings are changed from the computer...

try to reset to defaults

2. if colors are changed from monitor..

try to reset to factory defaults

3. If the Monitor cable is loose..

try differnt monitor if available with the same cable which is used to connect monitor and computer, or try using different cable on same monitor and computer.....

I want dual monitor for my PC

simply install another video card or get a card that has two outputs no pc will work with more than two video cards but the best setup is 1 on main board and one in the agp slot . or 1pci and 1 agp then enable them in your display settings :)

Will Princeton monitor VL1918 support NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE

Hi Alvie
I Just checked the specs on both the card and the monitor. It should work no problem. If for some reason you notice some lag or flicker in the monitor, go to this page and download the updated ForceWare graphics drivers.
