Question about Briggs & Stratton Ignition Kit 2-8 HP Engines with Breaker Point Ignition #5012D
Ok, change your spark plug lead and plug.If you get a "Shock" that sorta proves that it is all OK, check, ALL wiring, ends on wires, and connections are all clean and shinny. Clean with fine emery or sandpaper, That Black, wire is probably the "Kill" switch, it shorts out the Coil, to earth, and stops the motor. make sure that it's NOT touching earth.
