Question about Compaq Computers & Internet
Hi I have a compaq s3200nx with win xp sp3 and I need a new video card and I don't know anything about what is compatible with this computer. I was looking for the best possible upgrade. Does anyone know what i should get. Thanks.
CPU Athlon(tm) XP 2400+
CPU speed 2.00 GHz Performance Rated at: 2.66 GHz
RAM 1023.5 MB DDR
OS Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3 (build 2600)
Vid Card GeForce FX 5200
The Compaq s3200nx comes with integrated video; Via KM266 graphics. It has:
Available slotsTwo PCI
AGP is for Video but nothing else and it must be 4v. PCI is for all types of cards including Video.
You can get a PCI Video card with more memory on it than your current video.
You must verify your monitor connection. Is it VGA? or DVI? Make sure the card has the right type of connection.
