Question about Roper Dryers
Check the lid switch first is what I would do. It could be the switch or the arm that makes contact with the switch called an actuator. They do break.
If all of that was good I would look for air restrictions that might cause overheatingand correct that. Then I would unplug the dryer and check the fuse
