Try to unstall the software driver of your Artista, then install it again.

CyberPower PC HDMI port not working after power outage

This fault could be caused by a lot of things. First you should check your power supply. A tester is available for only a few quid. and it is easy to use. Also check your RAM.If you have a different display port (VGA,DVI etc.) on your tower then try getting a signal from that. This will tell you if the computer has failed or if it is only the HDMI port or Graphics card.

Cannot send e-mail

Email Will Receive but Will Not Send b> According to the Radicati Group, a technology market research company, over 107 trillion emails were sent in 2010 -- that's roughly 294 billion emails a day. Moreover, the company estimates that there will be 3.8 billion email accounts by 2014. With so much activity, some users are sure to run into trouble when trying to send a message. If you are receiving emails but can't send them, it may be due to a number of issues, most of which you can quickly fix on your own.
SMTP Authentication b> Many email clients and providers require that your outgoing email messages are authenticated by an SMTP server prior to being sent. This authentication process adds an additional level of security and helps prevent junk mail from being sent out. If you have SMTP authentication disabled, however, your email will not be authenticated and will not be sent, even though you may still receive emails. To fix this issue, enable SMTP authentication by placing a checkmark next to the option in your email client or provider's Settings menu. b> Port 25 Blocking Port 25 is the port that is used to send email. Whenever you attempt to send an email, the email is routed through port 25 and the data is transmitted to remote email servers. If this port is blocked, you will be able to receive email but you will not be able to send it. Some Internet service providers block this port on their servers, so if you suspect that you are unable to send email because of port 25 blocking, contact your ISP and request that the port be unblocked. No Default Email Account b> If you do not have a default email account set up on your email client, and you haven't selected a specific account when composing the message, the client will not be able to deliver your email. A sent email must always be tied to an email account to protect other email users. To remedy this issue, specify a default account in the email client's Account Settings menu, or specify which account you want to send the email from when composing the message. b> Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam Scanner b> If you have an anti-virus or anti-spam scanner installed on your computer or as a plugin for your email client, it may be preventing your emails from being sent. This happens when the scanner times out while scanning an email for viruses or spam content, or when it detects what it believes to be a virus or spam while scanning the message. To remedy this issue, disable the anti-spam or anti-virus program, then send the message as normal.
Hope this helps.

Old Dell Omniplex pci communication serial port needs driver

Go to the Dell support website http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/
Put in your service tag # (it is usually located on a little barcode sticker on the back of your machine). It does not matter if your machine is out of warranty or not. This is one of the reasons I like DELL. DELL has drivers for their machines that go back 10 years or more. I have never had a problem getting them from the website. When you see the downloads that you need download the ones that say driver. You may have to download the chipset driver also. When you do download the drivers and it asks you for the filename to save it as I find that it helps to add a name to the dell #'s to describe the driver so that it looks something like R264710video. Once you download them and transfer them to your computer they should install themself in the correct location (you just have to double-click on the .exe file and answer the prompts (if any)). Let us know if this helps.

Most newer computer do not have serial ports but there is such a thing as a USB to Serial converter that might work to load what you need to load. USB to Serial converters don't always work but they are worth a try

Depending on the software you're using and network configuration, there are several answers. The first thing I would try is checking the SSL settings VS the settings provided by your email provider.

I have a fairly new Bernina 440 sewing computer machine with embroidery module. While working on an embroidery project, I had a thread break. Fixed it and rethreaded the machine. Now the machine will...

It sounds like something in the controls loop got out of sync and made the thread break semi-permanent; try single-stepping and backscrolling through the stitches, and see if it can't memorize success instead.

If you can skip that item for now; surely power cycling or resetting the thing, running self-test or updating its firmware can remedy the situation?

USB stick

If the files you have saved are in the format that the sewing machine will read and the sewing machine has a USB port to plug the memory stick into, it should work.

Your sewing machine manual may have instructions on how to import files.

I am trying to send patterns from my computer to my Bernina Artista 180 and I keep getting the message (serial port engaged) ans communications error. I am musing windows xp PLEASE tell me what to do. ...

Does your bernina have a USB port or do you have a card reader? I have ran into this problem before. To use the patterns off of the computer, they have to be in a format that your embroidery machine can read. The only way I have found to do it, is use a card reader plugged into a USB port on the computer and it transfers files that wayinto a format the Bernina will read and be able to embroider from. Good Luck. Win XP started this problem and unfortunately, Vista hasn't fixed it.
