Question about Microwave Ovens
You are going to have to check the area that the sparks came from to see if there is any bare spots that are showing metal. The oven has a coating on it that prevents the sparking from occurring. Also take note that the sparking can cause the microwave tube to burn out. On another note, if you take the unit apart, federal law says that you have to test it for microwave radiation leakage. THis is not something that you can do yourself. Also since it is a commercial unit, if you are using it in a business setting you are open to liability.
