That would depend on what is wrong with the radio(s) Most GMR radios are through away's. The average bench time for a repair on a single radio is anywhere from $70 - $100 dollars and thats not including parts. Some manufactuers have a flate rate charge to repair thier product. you might try that avenue.

They are most likely GMRS or FRS, should be 14 or 22 ch's.
Makes no difference they all operate on the same frequencies.
Any of them will work providing you pay close attention to the operating miles. some are 3 some are 26. but that is only Line of Sight. many people don't understand that. And same goes if they are for water use (Mairne radios) they all operate on the same freqs.
