My sa-bt100 doesn't send audio trhugh the hdmi. I want to hear it through the TV not the external speakers. How do I configure it? Thanks

What TV audio is available to the SC-BT100 that a) isn't available to the TV directly; and b) would sound better on the TV?

I'd look on my cable box for the basic analog audio out and send it to the TV for those times you just want to watch the news without hi-fi. I'd also send the best Video (HDMI) directly to the TV because passing it through the receiver just adds cabling and opportunity for malfunction.

The best audio should go directly to the Panasonic. Period.

Look around fixya for the most common video problems - not passing through the receiver unscathed.

You have to be guided by Sony's information. Phone them and ask them again, they are the experts in their own products. Buy it from Sony and then you can send it back if it looks wrong.

Clicking noise on top of audio when using digital

Of course it comes from the speakers. What I meant was - what source originates the clicking? Pops on a digital feed are from digital data read errors or overloads (all 1's).

To what is the TV sending digital audio, and why? Any TV-related audio should be available to the Bose directly from the same device the TV gets it. Why send it to the TV first?

You may have "Blown" you speaker Amp. It may have fuses, but if that case, ONLY one channel would have blown? I think it is time to get a "Quote" from a reliable service center/man

Cant get tentioner to loosen to put belt back on 2001 dodge dakota

Tensioner only moves about an 1 1/2inches. If it is moving that much and you still not able to get the belt on you may wanto to double check the belt looping to insure it is correct. Most vehicles have a sticker near the radiater or on hood that shows belt wiring.

We have a cable box, rca reciever, a dvd and a non digital tv. Does the reciever need input from cable box, dvd and tv?? is red, yellow and white audio/video enough to connect or is a S-cable or optical...

From your cable box, send "optical" to the receiver. From the DVD send "coaxial digital" (looks like one rca cable" if your receiver has it, if not, optical is fine as well. There is no reason to send audio from the TV to the receiver unless you are using an "off-air antenna". If you want to have audio from the cable box to the TV for listening to TV speakers only, send an audio video cable (red/white/yellow) direct to TV. If you need more help just post a comment and I can help you some more.
