Is it Aluminum, or Copper? If it is Copper you "might" be able to sweat some solder onto the leak.

2003 Ford expedition AC question they want to replace the condensor, compressor, evaporator coil and condensor coil. how reasonable does that sound?

you have a leak and if you can hear it or smell it its a good one, most likely its a connecting leak where ever the components connect to each other. with an internal seal leak, such as compressor or evaporator, your freon will last about a month, with a external connection leak, your freon last a couple days

Model TFH30PRTA NOT KEEPING ICE CREAM FROZEN

Ice cream will get hard when the temperature is closer to - 20 C or -1 F scale. Water becomes Ice at 0 C or 32 F scale.

Ice cream soft means your freezer is not cooling enough.

You were cleaning the coils? Both condenser and evaporator coils? Cleaning coils and then loosing cooling in the fridge is not a good sign or combination. May be there is a freon leak and the seal system is low on freon now.

Call a service tech to check the seal system.

Unfortunately, if it is a leak you may eventually buy a new fridge after spending money on freon fill up, freon system sealant, leak check etc etc... No good news. Sorry

I have a Goodman home A/C unit and the copper line coming into the house freezes up. The unit continues to run with no cold air. I was told it is either dirty or low on Freon. Are they correct? If it is...

Hello
If you have ice on bigger copper line and no cooling then the unit is low in freon.

As far as cleaning it,you should clean the outside condenser in the spring.Use some simple green and a hose to clean the coils, this will make it better for the heat to transfer to the outside and cut your costs of running the unit down.

No you can not do freon yourself you need to be cfc certified now, which means you can not buy freon.Best to have a service person come out.

Ice is forming on coil fins

Either your coil is dirty or filter is dirty. Worst case your low on freon which would make a coil freeze. But freon doesn't evaporate if your low there must be a slow leak.

Coils icing

the unit either has dirty evaporator coils and this will make them ice up,or the unit is low on refrigerant/freon,try cleaning the whole unit of dirt and dust first, then you may need to install a saddle tap on the sealed system and add some refrigerant/freon as these systems seem to leak more often than other sealed systems

It sounds like a seal/gasket is defective causing it to leak. Please locate the model and date code on the bottom of the brewer and contact customer service for troubleshooting and replacement options.
