Problem with the right side of my subwoofer

The right side of my rockford fosgate 12'' punch subs isn't moving or hitting as much as the left one is. I have a 400 watt kenwood amp powering the subs. Is this because the amp isnt a high enough wattage or is it a wiring problem?

Hi, Make sure the connection are correct + to+ and - to -.
Also make the same connection to your amp + to + and - to -.
Make sure that your amp can run the subs, wattage and ohms.
Hope that helps.

I need to wire up a rockford fosgate punch hx2 12" subwoofer to a 500 watt single channel amp and i need to know how to wire the dual voice coil properly ??

Wire it in a series. One wire from amp positive to one positive speaker terminal. One wire from amp negative to negative speaker terminal. This should leave one positive and one negative termianl on the sub. Use one additonal wire to connect these two, this wire should not be connected to anything else other than the two remaining terminals. This will allow you to have the music up louder with higher amp settings without having to worry about blowing the speaker as easily.

I have a Rockford PL2-110 and intermittently I get a loud popping noise out of nowhere. the sub sounds good the majority of the time but occasionally it will make the noise more and more often. any ideas?

Have you double checked the wiring ( + to + and - to -)? When hooked up correctly, a sub should push outward when bass hits. If your wiring is correct and your amp isnt too big for the speaker then its about to go out.

Only one sub hitting

you most likely have them wired out of phase. Try reversing the wiring on only one of the speakers.

Rockford Punch HE2 wiring question.

if your sub will handle it, bridging it will give you more power. The best thing to do is to find out how much power the amp puts out ( RMS ) and if it is in your power handling range bridge it. It sounds better and gives you a harder punch because of more power.

I HAVE A ROCKFORD FOSGATE PUNCH 12" UNGLUED AROUND EDGE THE THICK PAPER RING IS SORD OF WORN OFF SPEAKER IS IN WORKING CONDITION, WHAT WILL IT COST TO REGLUE?

This can't be glued. common problem.
You will have to find a speaker repairer who can replace the foam surround or just buy a new sub.
