You cannot take of software from your desktop. Not at all.

All you need to do is to get an external dvd drive to enable you install from a program cd.

Good luck.

In most cases the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels.
Activate head cleaning before a test is taken . If not detected please contact service.

How do I download "Whatever" to my "Whatever"

This is real simple instructions are the same for all. Get the Software and a USB cable. (It should have come with your device as standard) From Manufacturers Web Site for the software, download for free, and you will have to get, or buy, a suitable USB Cable to fit your EXACT device, whatever it is. Often you can buy "Bundles" of, a CD & Cable for very cheap. Now, after you get all this, you FIRST, install the software and reboot, NOW connect up your cable to PC & whatever it is, and then Turn it ON. The PC should "Beep" and it should be recognized, and it will install itself. After it finishes, Reboot, leaving your device plugged IN & ON. NOW you will be able to "RUN" the software that you installed, either from the START Menu, Or a Desktop shortcut, Start the software and set it up,usually you must set your USB port, usually it is the "Default" but make sure, Now you will be able to use the software to make whatever suitable to be put onto and taken off, from your device. Also most often once installed you will see your "Device" in "My Computer" as a "Drive", and as such, can you can, Copy, Paste, Cut, as you would on any other Folder/Drive. to work with files. MOST if not ALL Files of whatever, MUST be converted to a format your device will handle BEFORE you can put them onto your device and use them.

How to transfer pictures from hp netbook to my nokia5000 cell phone

Connect your phone via the data cable to the Netbook usb port. Select mass storage on the cellphone if you want to transfer the pictures as you do in a pen drive. Your nokia cell phone will be then listed in My Computer/ Computer as a mass storage device. Copy and paste the pictures to the images folder on the phone.

Or

After connecting the cellphone you can select nokia PC suite and can transfer images using the software. You need to download and install the software before you connect the cellphone.

Shrey

I cant find thevdriver device to conect my phone by usb cable to uopload pictures help its a sylvania 7 inch netbook

I am not sure there is a way to directly connect a cellphone via USB cable to the Sylvania Netbook. If your cellphone phone can do e-mail you can send your pictures to yourself and save them on the Netbook.

A simpler solution maybe to hook your phone to your desktop/laptop and copy your pictures onto the desktop/laptop.

Then copy to a USB stick and put that in the SN usb port and copy it over. If you can put your mini-SD card from your cellphone into a full size SD adapter you may be able to copy it directly off the cellphone SD card.

NOTE! The SD card goes into the Sylvania Netbook "facedown" with the contacts on top.

Activesync does not appear to work on the Sylvania Netbook.

If you have to "update" your SN operating system you will lose all pictures that are not on either an external SD card or other external storage.

There is some discussion on the Yahoo Sylvania Netbook group on how to copy files to/from a desktop/laptop and the SN but it involves making a couple of registry changes to the SN and installing some other software on your desktop/laptop.

Have new drive Hitachi SimpleDrive Mini 250GB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive SDM/250RW (Red Wine) and works fine on Dell precision M4300 laptop Vista OS with either one or two usb plugs (so no extra...

Most USB hard drives require an external (or secondary) power cable to power the devices when connected to laptop or netbook computers. In some cases, even older desktop computer models will require a similar cable.
This is due to the specifications for the USB standard as it dictates the amount of voltage that a USB port can deliver. Some USB ports are considered "powered" and are sometimes identified by the USB logo and a small "+" sign to indicate the added voltage.
Note: Not all manufacturers use this logo, so if your computer doesn't have this variation of the logo, it doesn't necessarily mean the USB port is not powered.
This added voltage supplies additional current to power smaller devices, such as portable (or 2.5") USB hard drives. However, in the even that the USB port is not powered, then only the minimum amount of current is supplied. This should be enough to slightly power the drive, but not sustain it, thus causing the clicking noise and there isn't enough current running through to move the arm that reads the data on the hard drive.
Chances are that the USB ports on your Asus Eee are not powered and won't allow your hard drive to run until either a secondary cable is purchased or if you use a powered USB hub instead.
The secondary cable looks a lot like a Y-USB cable with one end that connects to your hard drive and the other end consisting of 2 USB plugs that both connect to existing USB ports on your netbook. Between the 2 USB ports, they can draw enough current to power the hard drive - the downside being that if you only have 1 USB port you cannot utilize the cable or if you have 2, they will both be occupying the ports while the hard drive is in use. These cables can cost about $1-7 depending on brand and can be found online in retailers such as eBay & CompUSA.
The USB powered Hub is a more expensive solution, ranging at about $10-25, but is the higher recommended of the 2 solutions since it will provide its own power supply to the tiny device, will use on 1 of your USB ports and since it's a hub, they usually have anywhere from 3-5 additional USB ports (all powered) for you to use, if needed. Some even include built-in memory card readers and they do not require any additional drivers or software to install and can work on any desktop/laptop/netbook.

Bought a new computer and want to use usb 3g adapter on new computer. I think I need to install software, however there is no disk drive as it is a netbook

Dear johnls,
Try to copy the installation CD to a flashdisk the run the installation from flashdisk when you connect it via USB jack on your netbook.
Or try to connect the external Optic Drive (CD/DVD ROM), wait until the netbook complete the installation of your optic drive. Restart your netbook with external CD ROM connected via USB jack, then run the 3G installation from your External CD ROM.

GoodLuck!

Best regards,

My netbook screen resolution is no good for canon instal disk

You didn't provide what netbook you got, but most netbooks today got built in SD-card readers. If your netbook does, the best solution is to remove the card from the camera and insert it into the netbooks card reader. The Canon G9 supports SD-cards, as well as SDHC, MMC, MMCplus and HC MMCplus compatible cards. I suggest using a SD or SDHC card.
You will not need to install canon software to access your pictures if you use the card reader, you will be able to access and copy/move them from the memory card in explorer (or equalent if you use Linux on your netbook). Also, it's a much faster way to move pictures from the camera to the computer, because the card reader interface is a lot faster than the USB interface to the camera.
If your netbook does not have an internal card reader, you could buy a SD card with built in USB, such as this one: http://www.cdrdvdrmedia.com/ultra-sd2-card-2gb-sandisk.html This SD card behaves like a normal memory card in your camera, but plugs directly to an empty USB port on your netbook. The card will be accessable as any removable storage, in Explorer (or equalent if you use Linux).
A third solution would be to get a cheap USB 2.0 card reader. Almost any cheap USB 2.0 accepts SD cards, and would be a lot faster than connecting the camera to the netbook with a USB cable.
I hope this help you!
