Question about Asko 24 in. D3250 Built-in Dishwasher
Dishwasher fills and then makes four clicking sounds, and a flashing "delicate wash" indicator blinks. It will not start the cycle. It has no problem draining. I have checked the arms to make sure they're not plugged.

SOURCE: Asko D3250 Bottom arm not moving
Check that the diverter motor above the wash motor is working and that you havent selected upper basket wash only, could still be a blockage in the lwr arm assy

Have an Asko 1325 that experienced similar scenario. Removed the unit from the kitchen to the outside to do a thorough exploration. After all a dead machine is a good one to learn on. With the unit electrically disconnected, I explored within the lower guts of the machine. Found some foreign plastic debris within the turbine. Then wigled and removed each electrical connector and reconnected back. There may be corrosion within the contacts. After this procedure I test ran the machine on the outside and it worked.
BTW a common defect with the Asko is the electrical wiring leading up the main door panel, from below the machine. The wires are typically too short and the metal edges of the unit are razor sharp. You guessed it, wires become cut and cause an electrical short at best, or a fire at worst. See the photo for proof by practice. This is why an Asko can be a fiasco.

It sounds like the motor is locked.
Take the bottom panel off and unplug the unit.
You will see the motor in the front. Put a screwdriver in the fan and try turing it. If it feels like a lot of resistance, keep trying to turn it. If it doesn't turn after a few minutes, then the motor needs to be replaced.

this sounds like a improper install ! ck to see if the drain hose outlet is lower than bottm of tank. it should drain to the disposal . and have a drain loop under sink .. the dw prosser is sensing that the drain is longer in time so it flasher inlet fault . . elevate the drain and try again ..if it drains to a lower use a stand pipe or a siphon brake . in the install .. mm

Testimonial: "The drain is working. It fills but doesn't start the washing, just comes on with the fault light. Could it be a faulty control panel? Or ???. Thanks."
two things either a clogged inlet water valve located at the bottom of the machine where the water hooks up to the dishwasher, there is a filter screen in the body of the valve, need to take valve off to access where the screen is. Second, could be a bad water level switch, but I would suspect the screen first this is most of the time, the problem
Hope this helped
