I have a Dometic Duo-Therm model no. 59516.531 AC. The fan runs slowly and the seems to run but doesn't cool because the fan doesn't run fast enough. Any help on where to start?

try testing the capacitor for the fan if there is one. if there is multiple speeds on the fan motor see if it is getting the correct voltage to the motor if it is getting reduced voltage it will cause it to run slower. U can find the max voltage on the side of the motor and just test the motor by making up a lead if u can.

Thermostat on wall, or manual controls at AC? Did it work for you on low before now? Reason I ask, is that normally they are only a 2 speed fan ( low and high) so if it's a wall thermostat and has been changed from original, perhaps it the way the thermostat is wired.

Have a Duo Therm 59516.531 15000 BTU blower motor does not run checked cap 5mf ok tried direct power still nothing any thought. thanks

if you tried direct power and still nothing then your fan needs to be replaced . there should be a a/c supply store near you . get the model - serial number on the fan or the unit itself to get the right fan for your unit . hope that helped
